The award winning Flatwater Shakespeare Company has invited our Taylor Park neighborhood to their live presentation of ‘The Comedy of Errors’ on
Thursday, June 19 at 7:00 PM in Roberts Park
Shakespeare’s greatest and shortest farce is a magical mix of mayhem, mischief and mistaken identity. Two sets of twins, separated almost at birth, collide unexpectedly in the town of Ephesus and pandemonium reigns in this family fun comedy set in the Old West.
Flatwater Shakespeare brings you the play free of charge as part of its Flatwater Free Shakespeare Program. A ten-dollar donation is suggested but we compensate for that with free ice cream donated by Ivanna Cone.
Roberts Part is just a few blocks from us! Bring the whole family, folding chairs or blankets, a pet or two and maybe a picnic.
The Lincoln Marathon is Sunday, May 4th. Expect delays when traveling south of O St and north of Highway 2. Runners are given the right of way during the race. Plan an alternative route or leave early!

This Saturday (April 26th) the Nebraska MEDS project will take back unused medications at 5 pharmacies near Taylor Park. Taking back leftover medications for proper disposal is extremely important because it reduces the risk of accidental poisonings and illegal drug use, all the while protecting aquatic environments as well as our own drinking water.
This opportunity to safely dispose of leftover medications (including controlled substances such as pain killers, etc.) only occurs once or twice a year because of the special logistics required, so please take advantage!
